Who We Are.

The Harvey Milk Visibility Project exists to honor visibility, community, and the power of showing up authentically. What began as an idea to celebrate Harvey Milk’s legacy has grown into a collaborative effort fueled by artists, advocates, organizers, and neighbors who believe representation matters. Through public art, storytelling, and shared space, we aim to create something that not only reflects the LGBTQ+ community, but helps people feel seen, welcomed, and connected. This project is built on creativity, care, and the belief that visibility can inspire change.
